Auto stop start issue

Hi guys. Really enjoying my 1st few weeks in the ffrr 4.4. Its had a few small issues as in the battery failed two weeks in ☹, however dealership were great lr assist came out and replaced battery which dealership paid for. Since I bought it though, the auto stop start is not working, the lr assist guy updated all software and couldn't get it working and today the main dealer i bought it from had it for a few hours and also couldn't get it working. They are planning to take it in for a few days and loan me a new discovery while they investigate. Any ideas what could be the issue? Thanks everyone, great forum btw!!👍👍👍

up to around 2015 they had auxiliary batterys in the rear right hand cubby, yours probably has a VQM [voltage quality module] ..if you do have a aux battery then its gone flat..
there is a chance that the signal wire has been disconnected from this module resulting in the stop start not working..
have a look at my thread and see if this is so,

My 2016 I purchased in April also has a non functioning auto off/on and I love it.
Much less wear on the engine.
