Reasonably priced coolant pressure tester

I'm looking for a reasonably priced pressure tester so I can check my system as I progress repairs (L322 2002) any recommendations based on your experiences ?
Searched the forums with little valuable info

Buy a second hand coolant cap and a low pressure gauge with a tapered thread. Drill a slightly smaller hole in the cap and the tapered thread should make its own thread in the plastic and seal
Should be fairly cheap off ebay
Best wishes
