Adjusting access height

Hi all

One of my dogs is pushing on in years and is starting to struggle to jump into the boot of my L322.

If I purchased an IID tool how much lower could I set the access height when compared to the factory standard height?

Jim

if you have the touchscreen year then any adjustment of the height settings will be global...it was only the pre 2005 touchscreens that could have individual/seperate height settings.. ... - .- -.

On my 2005 with an ID tool you can set the access height right down to the bump stops, The access height is also same as the lower height on the turn knob as the press knob by the window buttons.
So probably not sensible to drive it at that height, and not to use the lower setting for anything else such as getting under low obstacles, so if you set it really low, just remember to get it back up before driving off, and maybe make sure the wheels are not on full lock before lowing too.
Best wishes

if he uses the button near the drivers window switch panel that lowers the whole car in a oner , then it will lift back up on its own as soon as he goes over 20mph ( ish ) no need to mess with settings ??
