As you are looking for a 2016 car it would be worth checking to make sure it is Euro 6, as some are and some are not.
When Mayor Khan has finished introducing his emission charge rules anything less may prove more difficult to sell in the South.

Thanks for the great advice guys. I managed to pick up a 2016 (ulez compliant) 4.4 v8 autobiography with the all important rse today from beadles land rover Watford. The were UNBELIEVABLE when it came to customer service from start to finish. Car had full service , 45k on the clock and had most of the options I wanted. Just need to get the door mouldings and back strip to black and it will match the Mariana black body and gloss black wheels and gloss black badges.!!! Thanks everyone, and Hi to forum as a new owner, upgraded from a 2010 rrs sport!

Glad that you found the right car in the end.

If possible, try and get the infotainment software updated to the latest version, which makes the RSE as usable as it’s ever going to be Thumbs Up

Other than that, looking forward to seeing the photos Very Happy

Thanks .. I am really enjoying it...albeit a few niggles being ironed out by the selling dealership.

It needs a detail. I have my own DA polisher and was going to try using meguiars quick glaze to try and remove some of the fine swirls left by previous owners trips to the local hand wash I am sure. Any tips on whether the l405 paints are hard like MB audi? Or soft? Thanks everyone!

Which da polisher will u use? I’m near slough and need to find someone good.

I bought a 2017 autobiography fully loaded. With the newer wider INfotainment system and was amazed when I found that I could upgrade the system to Apple car pay for £300 - worth every penny. But slough landrover quoted me £200 for upgrade which was better and then gave me the upgrade for free!! Because I’d mentioned some issues with speed.

Car play works so smoothly. It is a killer feature

Thanks guys. Waiting for the weather to stay dry for a little longer to properly detail the car. I am still using my porter cable da polisher that I had imported from the us over 8 years ago lol! It still does a decent job, I managed to get started on some particularly annoying scratches and swirl Mark's on the drivers door with a meguiars hand foam applicator and meguiars ultimate compound. It removed the swirls straight away. Plan on using a polishing pad and meguiars ultimate polish first as I think that may remove most of the swirls actually and then seal with car pro ceramic coating. Will post some pics once I manage to find a good dry weekend!!

Also was wondering, can a 2016 autobiography have the infotainment upgrade for CarPlay and android auto or is it only the updated 2017 units?
