Rear window washer not working

Hi,

So, i gave my old L322 M62 some love this weekend.

SHORT VERSION: I can't get my Range Rover to flush rear window, nothing wrong with the pump in the front and the motor is not clogged, wiper working. is it a Relay? Fuse? or computer chip in rear wiper motor?

Long version: A few months ago my rear wiper worked fine, as did the washer pump (you could here it), but i couldn't get any washer fluid to the rear window. One day the wiper stopped. Since then I have been running with a shabby looking wiper in the middle of my rear window.

This weekend me and a mate took the rear wiper motor out. It hade obviously been clogged together whit rust and wiper fluid. but after a bit of lite exercise and rinse it works fine again. The rear wiper that is. But i couldn't get the rear washer pump going.

First thought - pump failure - but after a test it seems nothing is wrong with it. Checked for obvious failed fuses and nothing there...

So i went and looked for a what relay that controls the rear washer pump. But this is impossible to find. Is there even a relay for this or do any one have a clue where else my problem might be?

I've a similar problem myself ! wiper and washer were both working and I got the usual knock knock knock and the wiper was stopping in the middle of the screen . So I pulled it apart and sure enough the teeth were worn on the white plastic cog
so a replacement of ebay complete with magnet a regrease and rebuid and I thought happy days. But no, I took pictures before I took it apart so all went back the same and now I have no fluid to wiper and it seems to have no sequence as to where it stops on the rear screen also if the stalk is left forward in the on the on position it will do one set wipes and then not go again but also wipes everytime the ignition is turned on, stumped is the word Shocked any ideas ?
Also on you tube theres a nice fix for the leaking plastic elbow look at bmw e46 rear wiper its the same motor unit
but no idea if its the same control box, Range rover 4.2 SC 06MY.

My best guess at this point is the controll chip in the actual motor. Since i couldn't locate any specific relay for this function. But maybe it could be the Body Control Module... As i understand it, this is also a part of the electrics for wiper and washers..

Thanks! The thing is I think there's something wrong with the electric. I connected the rear washer pump direct to 12v and it runs fine. But it doesn't respond to "normal" start (pushing the wiper-leaver forward). i.e i can't get a washer signal from the drivers seat to the back off the car...
