Some folks have not bothered and it's been fine. Make sure it's an AGM one if your vehicle spec requires it. Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

TBH, for the sake of £25 fitting cost all the risk becomes theirs and not mine should something go wrong or not work afterwards. Seems worth it in my book. 09 RR Westminster 3.6TDV8 - Stornoway Grey / Black interior - now gone (sad face)

If you take out the cabin pollen filter ( 2 x 13 mm nuts), then you can move the battery control module out of the way without the need to unplug it.

So far not off to a good start - expected appointment yesterday didn’t happen as battery hadn’t been delivered to store so waiting on the call to tell me when it’s arrived 😂

Might not be the best wedding anniversary weekend away if we spend it parked on the hard shoulder of a motorway 😂 09 RR Westminster 3.6TDV8 - Stornoway Grey / Black interior - now gone (sad face)
