I’ve recently had my MY17 Vogue system updated and added Car Play. Since then the built in Nav doesn’t have audio. I think I’ve tried everything but wonder if there’s something unusual I’ve missed. Before I go to the main stealer could anyone gimme a hint? 1998 Freelander XEdi

Volume is up, audi is unmuted. Usually when the Nav is trying play it mutes music/radio etc. you get a kind of silent half second then the Nav instructions play (where you can increase the nav volume, the difference between nav and general, audio)` , I’m not getting that, which suggests its not trying to give audio instructions. Is there a setting for audio instruction? 1998 Freelander XEdi

What Chalky said, l believe the issues stemmed from the fact the audio files (pack) were not installed correctly when being updated. Keith

Had this too, went back to the dealer and he reinstalled the audio database, took 1/2 hour. |

When updating from earlier than 17C the speech database MUST be updated or you will get the symptoms you describe along with voice commands not working.
