However......

The sticker shows a wide range of pressures depending on number of occupants but only quotes 2 plus luggage and five plus luggage.

For everyday use you can go down a bit for a better ride IMHO. I use as low as 34 front 36 rear in winter conditions. Thumbs Up

England 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Java Black

for what it's worth I was told by someone on the forum that 36 front and 42 rear was the best pressure for my TDV8 on 19's.

I've stuck to that and I find it works just fine.

I'm sure there's an array of opinions on this matter though!

Cheers, Bomber. - Ad augusta per angusta -

There is only 1 way to find out the correct pressure for your tyres in your typical use and thats the chalk method... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Lower pressure on the front as the weight over the front axle doesn't change with load where as the rear has a full tank of fuel sometimes, full boot and pulling a large load which could exert upto 150kg weight extra.

BC's quoted pressures are what i run which are the towing/heavy load pressures which are great for improving MPG and handling, but reduce overall grip. Fine if you spend your time doing a lot of miles. When the weather comes in the tryes will break away that bit more quickly due to a reduced downward force from the outer edges of the tyres. Lowering the pressure will improve this but increase fuel consumption but also make the ride a little more compliant Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

I increased mine to the full load and gained 3 mpg

I also use nitrogen as I have access to it through my business

makes sense...more pressure will give you less rolling resistance and therefore slightly more mpg.. ... - .- -.
