The back end of my Range seems to be feeling a bit more wobberly than usual. I’ve had a look underneath
At the rear sub frame bushes as the car is now 12 years old and I wondered if you thought they looked knackered?

Yes they look a little bit torn but is this normal?

What do you think? Anything else I should be looking at?

a) are the MOT people saying anything ?

I do have the big and small metal tubes, and the metal plate with centre hole available for a price, but you would need your own bush pressing kit. .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember

Saled through last mot in December no problems.

Looks a heavy job so would proberly pay someone if it needed doing.

It's hard to imagine you'd feel anything significant from the subframe bushes other than a few clonk noises if worn like that.
If it feels that noticable, it's more likely to be the rear hub bushes or toe control arms. Have those been looked at / checked with a pry bar? Paul,

No knocking or clonking.

What do rear hub bushes on there way out feel like?

they can feel like the car is steering itself from the back as the rear wheel camber changes. Its what was happening on ours before I changed the hub bushes Paul,
