Living in the North East it’s not often warm enough to work the aircon really hard, but today we hit 25C so aircon was needed. However, with both temperature controls at 20C, the passenger side was blowing lovely icy cool air, while the drivers side felt like it was blowing warm. Anybody experienced similar behaviour and is there a simple fix?

On the Disco there's an HVAC reset procedure you can do. Might be worth a search on the D3/D4 site. If that doesn't fix it, it's probably a stepper motor that's given up the ghost. 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

Problem solved, yesterday whilst grinding rust and repainting the read wheel arches I disconnected the battery. Reconnected the battery and hey presto, fully working air-con!

Sometimes it seems that the Range Rover just needs the old ‘turn it off and on again’ IT trick.
