Ireland 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 V8 Barolo Black
Parking ECU

location, location, location
can anyone tell me where she is so i can check connections etc,
not working and no light on the center console.
is it a swap job or do i need a code breaker?

Yes, on the opposite side to your audio (right as you look at back) take side cover off and its tucked away behind everything ( you can't see it to look at). Two nuts to unscrew and then pull it up. It will be a box with probably three block connectors going into it. think mines up the duff also but not found cheap replacement yet although i get lights and a long beep to say theres a fault. No light at all ? Fuse? power?

no fuse in slot 6 its a 5 amp jobby . replaced, light comes on as does an audible warning, ....... neither of which go off ... now i know why the fuse was pulled...
replacement ecu 85£ on eBay but recon i might have a sensor problem. time to pull the fuse again unless someone has any suggestions.

A search will also bring up tons of results as it's a relatively common problem.

The module itself is the same as various other BMW modules, again on the link above is a list of all compatible BMW part numbers. I paid £27 inc P&P.

Dan, do you think the module i've bought part no. ending 931 will be an ok replacement for current defunct module part no. ending 930?

Yes YWC000931 is the same as 930 but with updated SW I believe. It's in Microcat as the correct one Smile
