2012 TDV8 L322

I’ve noticed on a couple of occasions recently, that when I start and move the vehicle after it’s been standing a little while, I get a little smoke from under the front wheel arches.. The smoke is diesel smoke as if it’s dripping onto a hot manifold or similar...

My fuel consumption is around 530 Miles per tank

Any thoughts..?

if its cold weather then the smoke is most likely coming from the fuel burning heater [fbh]...

It'll be the fuel burning heater most likely.

A search on here will reveal the ins and outs of that, how it works and when it comes on. Do you have a remote for it that has a couple of buttons, ON/OFF? Cheers

The fuel burning heater... So, nothing untoward then.. I do have a remote for it, but on the spare key ring...

Nice in winter, with the remote you can warm the interior up fairly well from the house before you get in. Cheers
