i will do oil and new filter on mine @ 60ish K same as i did on the last one. my reason being i dont want all the deposits being cleaned off the components in the box and then floating about causing problems later with the new detergents cleaning everything. Cheers

When flushing, detergents should not be used with the 6/8HP boxes... |

Had my 8 speed megaflushed by Bodsy a few months back as a precautionary maintenance. All fine. He didnt use any detergents or Dr Tranny just 8 speed oil Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

I was always told that the best method was to drop the oil and replace. Do a couple of hundred miles then drop the oil again, remove the sump, replace the filter and refil. |
