My Air con has stopped working properly so I took it in to have the gas checked while I waited at a local garage who do air con.

Have you whacked the air con onto max with control knobs at 16 degrees, full fan ?

Had it to the max using max air con button which puts full fan on and temp knob as low as it goes but still no joy! |

As millerj90 says, it's probably the valve. The 2010 facelift ones have a different mechanism on the compressor whereby it doesn't have a clutch and runs all the time with the output being controlled by a valve. This valve was a bit iffy and begins to stick. There is an updated part available but the compressor needs to come out to replace it.

Thanks folks that's exactly the kind of info I was after. I think I'd better start looking for a new compressor! |
