Think at 41 mpg it might be cheaper in the long run to get a nun to chauffeur me around |

For the first 750 miles, driving like a nun, it was an returning an average of 25.6 mpg (brim to brim, not via trip computer).

Motorway journeys sticking to 75 ish when the engine is just ticking over in 8th gear returns in the low 30's. Short local trips 8/10 miles and a bit of throttle gives me 25/26. Careful driving with no wide throttle openings or hard braking over mixed journeys I can get 28 average.

My indicated mpg values are from trip computer and mainly flat roads from Reading to North London M4, M25 and inner London. Speed wise, flowing on the rightmost lane I was expecting the trip computer to be optimistic but still it is much better than my exceptions for such big car. Fighting with Hunters to sort out the suspension knock, car been there 2 times already with no success yet. Other than that great car. |

yes, i get about the same, average 30-31mpg, done about 14k miles now, and i drove a 3litre v6 and for me its not as good as the v8, in sound and the way it just shifts from standing start, ie traffic lights.

Just completed a 10-day tour via Newcastle and the Scottish Highlands - about 1500 miles all-in.

I'm not sure how accurate these apps are, as the figures seem impossibly high.

I like to keep a log of mileage/fuel use out of general interest and over the first 4 tanks, the actual mpg is 8.5% lower than the figure from the computer / the app.
