YES, it also worked for me! Remember to put the sunroof in tilt position and then hold it for about 30 sec, wait for the clunk and its done.

Priceless, the knowledge sharing in this forum. Can't beat the official dealerships focussing only on selling new Chelsea Tractors 😀

From the owners manual page 45:
“Note: If the battery is disconnected or the power supply is interrupted while the sunroof is partially open, it will need to be recalibrated as follows: With the power supply reconnected, fully tilt the sunroof open. Continue to push the switch in the tilt position for approximately 20 seconds. The sunroof can now be operated as normal.”

Also on page 209
SUNROOF RESET
If the battery is disconnected or the power supply is interrupted while the sunroof is partially open, it will need to be recalibrated.
When the battery is reconnected or the power supply is restored, recalibrate the sunroof as follows:
1. Switch the ignition on.
2. With the sunroof closed, press and release the front of the switch. The sunroof will move to the tilt position.
3. Press the front of the sunroof switch and hold for 20 seconds.
The sunroof can now be operated as normal. Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

I’m kind of confused by this post

What’s the issue that people are having??? The sun roof doesn’t sit flush with the roof?

Then you just re calibrate it via the switch?

If the sun roof isn’t sitting flush to start with does this mean it’s not closing properly?? Regards

Daz - correct. Some folks sunroofs don't fit flush. Mine is slightly down at the rear.

Did mine just this second had now made the sunroof sit ever so slightly proud of the roofline like it’s supposed to be. You can see that the velvety material surrounding the glass has almost got a dirt line where it was sat low

I’m thinking this may be something that needs to be done every 6 mo this or so.

Wonder why it’s starts to sit lower than it should?? Regards

When i bought mine i didnt even notice the sunroof was low at the back....drove 120 miles home in the pouring rain Big Cry

Later that evening i was looking out of the bedroom window and wondered what the marks round the sunroof were....went down and found gaffer tape residue all round it Censored
I guess the previous owner didnt bother working out the problem and just taped it up to stop water leaks..

A quick search on here found the simple answer and all is good with the world again! Very Happy

So the reset from tilt position worked for me but when I fully open and then close the sunroof it still sits low. Tried the fully open for 30 secs and then fully closed for 30 secs and that made no difference.

Any clues or other avenues to explore please? Bish.
