IIRC the WiFi icon only shows when the vehicle has connected to an external WiFi network. |

Don’t have ICTpro in the Fatty, but did in the previous F Pace. So far as I recall, if the SIM was in and valid the wifi icon displayed top left. |

Mine would show 3G in the top right corner of the information once the SIM was active about 10 seconds after start up, Ive since removed the SIM as 3G is crap, and now its got a sort of wifi signal logo crossed through in red colour, so I know its not functional.

My sim just ran out on my 17MY after owning the car for 11 months. It was a 12GB sim from 3. I found the first thing that I noticed was the Map view which is normally in satellite mode wouldn't load but it still showed 3G on the ICP screen. When I tried to load a web page it wouldn't have it so swapped the card for another 3 sim and hey presto it all worked again. So after I'd done this the system told me I was about to run out as I had reached 12GB. I would say this was about two days after it actually ran out. You do have to set the system to understand what size of GB was on the sim to begin with. Best to do this as you insert the new card as I have done. My new card is a 24 month/24GB jobbie so don't expect to run out for a while yet.

Pretty sure it was under all settings-connectivity-mobile data and then you can set the amount of data you have on your sim and details of the provider etc. |

I have mine set to on as the current deal is Europe wide. If that changes I’ll turn it off if abroad. |

On everywhere and off if the free roaming stops on the continent (if you’re there) |
