Hi, it been a long time since I had to do it but yes i remember taking the shroud off (the bit you would normally colour code). As the mirror closes there is a contact made with the clip i'm talking about. this comes loose and simply needs refixing in place. It worked for me but my memory is sketchy. hopefully someone here will know what I'm trying to explain.

I shall have to try the reset. In hot weather (most of the time here), the RH mirror folds in then back out. The LH mirror stays closed. Ron B. VK2OTC

Finally!! The reset didnt fix it, so I took the mirror cover off, found the plastic cover that fits over the micro switch. when I removed it the small metal arm that operates the switch had dropped off, fitted it back on and sure enough the mirror now folds in and stays folded. Thanks guys. |

we should perhaps step back and take a long look at ourselves!! We no longer want to fold a mirror back ourselves, nor do we want to adjust it ourselves, let alone adust the drivers seat position!!
