Felling a little sore -- bought a swan neck and receiver from a chap on FB -- specifically asked if the keys worked, and behold it arrives and the whole thing is stuck solid -- one key bent in transit, the other key bent already -- managed to straighten them, plenty of penetrating lubricant -- and the key's won't turn.

Just checking you aren't trying to turn the key when its not locked into place - its a safety approach so you can only lock and remove the key when the swan neck is properly fitted. (apologies if you already know this).

Thanks Nick, I was sold a pup, the back latch was snapped, due to someone hitting the back of the casting so hard it burred over the edge such that the lever wouldn't operate, in short it was FUBAR.

Hit it with a big enough hammer and it may fit...

£252 all in, delivered. Cheaper than folks were asking for second hand (when you take the receiver into consideration), and no certainty that they haven’t been misused or abused...
