Hello again been here before 2016, site refuses to let me sign in without another 30 minute wait, I've had three in succession so it isn't going to take the new passwords either OK re-register.
That's three attempts to change password, off you pop...............again. It doesn't help that I'm using a none Mac or Windoze machine either I suppose, but I can't log on with my iPhone either and that did it with my thumb, my digit works for the bank and BS ok confused Martin.

Hello again TrumptonDaveToo here...................hello got a problem after a battery change, please bear with me.

Hi FFRR friends

I have had my 2015 L405 Autobiography SDV8 for about 18 trouble free months now. I love it...... except the black wheels, one of which is badly scraped. Careless but it was other the kerb or the psycho on moped.

Hello from France

Hi All, Ben here! Have been living in France for the last ten years. Currently have a 2002 TD6 which although still running has some torque convertor issues. Luckily though in a couple of days we are picking up a late 2010 3.6 TDV8 with low miles.

Was going to scrap the old TD6 but the wife said to keep it and convert it into an expedition truck. So first job I am going to recondition the gearbox (shouldn't be too hard). Might be after some pointers along the way.

Hi all I've just joined . I've not actually got my rangerover yet . I've recently sold my disco 3 and am on the look out for a l322 . I've found a 2004 tdv6 that has been left outside, untouched and unloved for 3 years and am in the process of sorting out a fair price from the owner . I got her started with a fresh battery but then the alternator went up in smoke, so I left it for the owner to fix and said I'd be back . He's since fixed it and I'm waiting to hear from him . In hindsight I should have bid him lower and got the whole thing recoverd back to my place and I fix the alternator myself! I would actually own one by now ! Am I brave or stupid looking at one that hasn't moved for 3 years?! Rolling Eyes

Hello all,

On the hunt for a supercharged FFRR and this seems like the best place to start Thumbs Up

Done enough research to suggest that when I find one, I'll be spending more time on the forums Mr. Green

Never driven a D3, but I find it hard to imagine the TD6 being better than anything Whistle

We had a hilarious test drive in one many years ago - my wife driving - left the showroom, onto a dual carriage way, accelerated, left at the first exit, 180 tuen and heading back to the showroom - the salesman explains that it's OK to go a bit further, so my wife tells him there is no point as this is Censored so we'd better try a petrol one.

However, the TDV8 is a different beast entirely - better than the 4.4 petrol in every way IMHO

New to L405 RR ownership

Hi folks

Although I’ve posted a few times, here’s a formal introduction.

I’ve had a fair number of LR products over the years. My first was a Series 3 SWB in 1988 when I was a trainee solicitor in Exeter. Since then I’ve had a couple more S3s, a 1983 Range Rover (which did a great 2,000 mile tour of France), 2 x V8 Disco 2s, 2 x V8 Disco 3s and the 2014 Disco 4 HSE I’ve mentioned elsewhere. Apart from the original Series 3 (which must have been made by the cleaners when the factory was on strike) everything has been pretty reliable. From about 1997 I’ve also had other vehicles, which currently include a Mercedes SL60, Mercedes SL500 and Porsche 928GTS (the former 2 of which I’m selling).

I’ve just bought a 2014 RR SDV8 Autobiography in Causeway Grey with Ivory and piano black. I’ve only driven it a couple of hundred miles but have been very impressed with the comfort and refinement. The only thing I’d change is an upgrade to the satnav/infotainment interface (the sound is good) so await updates elsewhere in the forum about the practicalities of doing that.

My local dealer is a Guy Salmon, Bristol, whom I hope to see as infrequently as possible.

This seems a nice forum so I look forward to contributing to it

Stuart
