Do these prices look ok?

Recently bought a 10 plate 3.6TDV8, got the service and brakes done at local indy, all well so far.
but the RR came back with a list of things to be done soon.

Current Mileage is 101k.

1. N/S rear/front brake pipe corroded, £424.80 inc VAT.
2. N/S/F Driveshaft outer gaitor split out, lost grease. £384.58 inc VAT.
3. Gearbox Oil quite dirty, recommend to renew Auto box Oil and filter pan, £369.72 inc VAT.
4. Both rear shock absorbers are leaking excessively. £875.26 inc VAT.

I could feel the sluggishness in gearbox specially from a standstill, so was still deciding between a Gearbox Flush or just oil change. its defintely something i want to get done soon,

But others are a surprise , so please advise on the priority too, as to in which order i should get these done.
And if there is any cheaper alternative for these, i cant do it myself.

Thanks

Hi do you have a 6 or 8-speed gearbox if it`s the 8 then the price is ok, brake pipes mean that they will replace all of the brake fluid so not too bad, not sure about the gator but it`s a dismantling of the hub and everything attached to it so depends on labour gator is the cheap bit. Shocks? no that should be airbags which would make the car keep dropping down?

Brake pipes i would leave to the expert. Flaring tools etc are needed. It does sound a bit pricey though.
The gaitor can definately be done cheaper. You can buy them that wrap around the shaft and fasten up like a zip lock bag. 30 min job.

The gear box is reasonable if its a flush, not just a change. You will only get half the oil out unless its flushed. A member on here can flush it for you.
Both rear shocks is expensive. I assume he means the damper and not the bags. Not that hard to fit but a few different types fit your car.
They range from £80 - 250 each.
Why dont you send Dan at Duckworths a message and get parts prices. Then you can make a better judgement of cost.

Edit I can't seem to find tne split repair gaiter to fit a fatty. Maybe it has toge done the hard way Rolling Eyes 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal

Cheers guys, it did look a bit pricy to me.
Specially for the gaiter and brake pipe.
Mine is a 6 speed one.
Still undecided as to whether to go for gearbox oil change or flush.

Which member can do the flush ? Can you name please.

Regarding the dampers, I think the facelifted 3.6 ones are fitted with adaptive dynamics ones, that's why pricy.

Thanks

Chances are the front pipes are corroded, but original steel replacements are cheap as chips but not super easy to change. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
