United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Zambezi Silver

Hi just bought my first Range Rover. A TDV8. Very impressed so far but I'm sure I will need your help at some point. I'm fairly handy with the spanners so hopefully I will be able to help give advice at some point.

My L322 has gone....

...but been replaced with a (new to me) L405.

The L322 decided to smooth-off the splines on the gearbox and transfer box at 100,551 miles (guess when the warranty ran out) so she was repaired and sent to the auctions - I hope she has a nice new home.

She was a lovely beast;

To be replaced by an L405 Autobiography - Awsome vehicle and only one fault so far in nearly four weeks of ownership - a spring in the drivers door latch broke meaning I had to hold the door closed all the way home one rainy evening....

Pictures to follow when she's clean. 2017 - L405 SC - WOW! just WOW!
2014 - L405 4.4
2010 - L322 3.6 - Carried me 100,581 miles then broke big-time

There are 10 types of people in this world;
Those that understand binary,
and those that don't.

Hi everyone, Im Tim from Wiltshire.
Have my first RRSport 3.6tdv8 2007. 150000 miles,full service history remapped to 320 bhp and 710nms, is a great car to drive and pulls like a train in all gears, but found out that the nearside exhaust has a crack and is overboosting sometimes causing it to go into limp mode,
Is it body off to replace the manifold or can it be done insitu,
Thanks in advance.

Hello Tim, Nice to meet you. You might be better served on the sister forum for RRS as this one is for the L322 and L405.

Hi all, new to RR ownership. Well sort of. Owned a L322 for the last six months. Had landrovers for the last twenty years. A Series 3 then a Disco 1for the last sixteen, till it fell apart with rust. Went looking for a replacement Disco and bought a rangieđŸ™„ 52 plate with 78k and two owners. Only problem is, I keep getting it dirty on salsbury plain, then have to clean it! Could get away with filthy disco, a rangie doesn't look right dirty.
Cheers Mark

Hi everyone!
Like RW90 above, just bought a 2011 4.4 TDV8 vogueSE.
Already have had a susp failure msg and a blocked radar msg. Confused
Under no misconception that RRs are a hobbie, not a run of the mill motor.
Looking fwd to joining the conversation Smile

Australia 2009 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Zermatt Silver

G,Day to all FFRR community ! I have recently bought my first Range Rover, a 2009 model TDV8 at auction after driving a D2 TD5 as my daly driver and tourer for the last 10 years. I haven't actually seen my RR yet as it is waiting at my brothers place about 4 thousand km south of me here in Darwin. I have been reading as much as i can over the last few weeks in preparation to drive it back home over easter .

I am a member of the AULRO forum here and over the years the help and advice given by other members has been fantastic but when it comes to the FFRR it is obvious there is a lot more to learn here. So thanks for having me, hopefully there is no need for an emergency call out to you all during my drive. Cheers !

That is the drive home to beat all drives home! I thought mine was a biggie, just over 450 miles from Kent to Glasgow. I feel so inadequate now Laughing 09 RR Westminster 3.6TDV8 - Stornoway Grey / Black interior - now gone (sad face)

Hi everyone. I bought by FFRR a while ago but have only got round to joining now. It’s been great so far. Been to Cornwall twice, the Cotswolds and Le Mans. Relaxed family transport and dog wagon. And it looks quite smart too, I think!

Hi,
I bought a 4.4 V8 L322 last year. Its got a few issues so I thought I'd join a few forums to research the best ways of getting it back to full health!

Cheers all
