Hope it was at least as nice as it looks - thanks for sharing the pics.

We have a similar trip on the drawing board for this year. The idea I have is taking the ferry from Southhampton / Portsmouth to Bilbao / Santander - then making our way back. Early stages yet, but I'd like it. I like a good drive, but don't want to spend my entire break behind the wheel....so it's still embryonic right now.

Very Happy

JJ

It's not just you. I wondered the same as his car is very similar to mine but the pictures didn't make sense to me either. What got me was the interior shot of the car. Where's the top glove-box, the electric switches for the glove-boxes and the 'Range Rover' badge? Confused The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile

Thought I'd bump this as there is current interest in European road trips.

I did indeed do the trip in my TD6 Tonga, and have since swapped to the TDV8 Stornoway.

I'm off to the Alps in 3 weeks time so will endeavour to get more shots of the car in scenery, last time I got one shot inside the eurotunnel and one in the underground car park!

A 'chipped' TDV8 on the payage motorways, looking forward to it already. Very Happy Discovery 4 HSE
