Battery definitely doesn’t ‘slide out’, you need to desolder the two pins from the battery on the circuit board. Get a repair kit or battery and you will see what to do. It’s not hard, just need a soldering iron with a small tip and a steady hand. |

Check out nut job on YouTube, he did a video on repairing his key fob which included replacing the battery |

so the batterys that charge via the ignition are soldered in, didnt know that....but, i assume that if the battery has gone past its recharge capacity then a new one is required.. |
