first step is to change the keyfob battery.. |

Anyone have any tips with changing the battery before I wreck something?

Battery definitely doesn’t ‘slide out’, you need to desolder the two pins from the battery on the circuit board. Get a repair kit or battery and you will see what to do. It’s not hard, just need a soldering iron with a small tip and a steady hand. |

so the batterys that charge via the ignition are soldered in, didnt know that....but, i assume that if the battery has gone past its recharge capacity then a new one is required.. |
