If you are going to add a second wireless router, make sure you set it up with a different subnet for dhcp, or turnoff dhcp and only allow specific IP addresses for specific devices. Things can get messy if you have two routers on the same subnet serving up the same range of IP addys. Security is important, so WPA2 at least, and for double strength control via MAC address too.

Got two sets of those Gaz in my setup along with two broadband packages one from sky broadband and the other from 02 broadband as i have the same problem with coverage ... ![]() |

OK it took 5 minutes from out of the box to fully working in the previously dead zone of the house! Most impressed and the signal seems excellent.

good news...they are pretty plug n play, certainly not cheap but often easier than running new cable everywhere ! cheers

Only concern seems to be that the new access point is open and does not require password following set up as advised? |

On the Tablet Android 2.1 os I did this - you click "Forget this connection" but scan immediately finds it and adds it again you click connect then obtaining IP Address and failure. Worked fine before I added the new Extender connection.
