Well, considering it's a nice pink when it's new I'd say that's well and truly had it! Drives:

I'm not sure about the 2010MY but the cold climate fluid that's spec'd for my 2009MY is luminous green rather than pink? 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

Is there not a drain plug, or maybe a union you can loosen to drain away the fluid then refil , seems to be a bit of a faff on with suction and the like , just a thought |

If you use my method you will flush the system and have only new fluid in the system. it will take cc 2 liters of fluid. 2012 TDV8 Black Edition

Out of curiosity today I had a look at the power steering fluid in my car, it's a golden yellow colour. It appears in good condition and certainly doesn't smell untoward. As far as I am aware the steering is working correctly and has never been a cause of concern. Am I correct in assuming I would have to flush out the entire system rather than simply emptying the reservoir ie not mixing the "correct" new green fluid with old.
