I don't know about Saxton's (other than what I've read on here) but I do know that the company advertising this car:

Show a hyperlink in their Pistonheads/Autotrader ads that points to a non-existent web site,

Sends e-mails signed off with limited company details, that a quick companies house check, reveal don't exist

advertises a car as 'one owner' that an HPI check reveals has had at least two prvious keepers

has £500 of my money that I'm still trying to get back Censored

Maybe it's too bling even for footballers, and I guess that perhaps there isn't so much money in drug dealing as there used to be! Whistle

its bloody horrible imo Rolling with laughter

nobody should be allowed to do that to a FFRR (or any other car)

Pathetic, trying to sell a car for £80k and can't be bothered to wash it!

With the dirt on the matt one it looks appalling.

I actually agree about the Stornaway one though, it looks great. I'm not against Overfinch conversions, it's just the one I pointed out was really far too bling for my taste, with the quilted interior etc etc. Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

The Stornaway one looks a lovely car. I saw a "stealth" edition Audi R8 Spyder parked in the open air car park at Glasgow Airport on Tuesday when I parked to come south............... definitely an acquired taste. Parked next to it was an much more tasteful Silver over "kingfisher" blue Phantom Convertable so long it took up 1.5 slots, my very dirty (but doesn't lookit!) Stornoway Vogue was left in very good company for the 2 days I was away and it was probably the least desirable car of the 3 for a change! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

That stealth one has been on here before. Have you noticed it is riding on RRS crappy design 19" alloys glossed black? It looks W**k !

I heard some things about Overfinch recently. Apparently, unless you were the original paying customer, getting any form of customer service from them was impossible, they didn't carry enough spares for older cars and the company was only a reputable one back in the early 80's before it was sold off by the original founder.

I think their cars are aimed at the footballer who will have it for 6 months before anything goes wrong and then moves it on, so then they don't care. Discovery 4 HSE

I contacted them about a FFRR that had already been converted and found them to be very helpful. The car I was researching, was still under warranty with LR but when I rang my local LR dealership they couldn't have been less helpful and told me that the warranty had been invalidated by the conversion Censored

When I rang Overfinch they were adamant that it wasn't an issue but that they would look after me and the car anyway.

Ultimately I didn't buy the Overfinch but I intend to have the conversion done on my FFRR when funds allow.

I agree they are very expensive and not to everyones taste but like I said, the company have been professional and courteous to deal with.

Thanks

Andy Brown
