Hi All

I bought a 2012 set of seats.
They were delivered with the rear seats folded closed but they refuse to open.

I have pulled the cable release open but it will not release. Do they need to be back in the car to work or am I missing something?

Ignore above.

Find the latch that secures the seat to the bar when it's in the upright position. Back of the seat base.

Move the two outer bits "up" and the seat should unfold. Cheers

Thank you ... i suspect you are right.
I gave it a go but couldnt hold it, open it and push the rods all up on my own.

I need to have patience and wait until get them in the car if i can.

I am trying to fit 2012 seats in my 2006 MY.

had heard it cannot be done but someone on ebay said they had done it and there is a 2003 for sale on ebay at the moment with 2010 interior so hoping it can be.

Photo attached for anyone else searching. This is the bottom middle mount on the double rear seat.

I am trying to find out where the mysterious seat relay is at the moment . Hoping it might be the faukt as to why my drivers side is dead.

Good point Graeme. Forgot that as mine are in the car and you can't move the backs until the seat is at least part way down.

AB, bit more info on the seat relay you're looking for please, but this is locations of various bits.

Thank you very much. Big help on the folding .. I was fairly sure they need to be in the car or several people holding them all at once to make it work.

On the relay , it is the 2006MY relay I am trying to locate. So far a struggle .. have been through all the years workshop manuals. I think above is a 2010 onwards as it has the rear controls?

Will do .. I have two so confusing anyway .. I have a 2003, 2005 and trying to fit a 2012 interior into my 2006z

Just two at the moment. A 2003 Autobiography and a 2006 Vogue with an interesting past.

Btw I did add them to my signature but not showing up for some reason.

Have had 5 in total now ...

Is your 2006 a facelift interior model? If not then the 2012 seats won't fit...
