Lots of L322 owners switch to the 55 profile and actually its more accurate speedometer wise than the 50's 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey

Probably because the speedo deliberately overreads. Mine is set to 2MPH IIRC from the CCF. Current: RR L322 2010 Past: RR L405 2017, RR L322 2012, 2008 & 2004, 2018 D5, 2016 Defender, 2011 D4, a few Disco2s, P38, RR Classic, couple of Disco1's, SIII SWB |

As above - the 255 55 20 are a standard size on the L405 so are readily available and cheaper than 255 50 20's - so quite a few people have fitted them to L322's with no problems at all. |

My 2012 WM latterly had Goodyear 255/55R20 on 405 style 502 wheels. No problems as regards fit/rubbing. Speedo was almost exactly accurate per Road Angel Gem device, almost to the point of under-reading. Steering a bit slower than the 255/50R20 standard size. Ride quality will vary depending on tread design etc - the standard Continentals have soft sidewalls and so ride a bit softer than all terrains like the AT3 (or Goodyear Duratrac which I use in winter). Only Range Rovers since 1988 |
