Anyone knows why radio does not work without CD changer connected to the main LCD or when it is connected but in vertical position? If I put the 6 CD changer back in the glove box then it works again.

the nav, BT, radio etc are all connected together in one optic fibre circuit..take one out and it all stops working..

as for the vertical position ??????

By vertical position I mean that CD changer is hanging out of glove box facing to ground. So there is no way to remove CD changer without affecting others? I would need to install tachograph instead of that, would it be possible to move it to trunk somehow?

i dont know how the connections look but you could try the bic biro method which is used to remove the BT unit out of the circuit ..do a forum search for more info re that..

if you want to remove it completely you loop it out
so the fibre optic cable carefully remove both cables small blue locking tab pushes out then small black plasric tab prise up with screw driver pull cables out
now you need to join them DO NOT CUT cables so the light travels around the circuit in a loop
To achieve this you have 3 choices
1- buy a connector off the Bay
2- use an old Bic biro first remove the ink part shorten it the clear tube push cable in each end
3- use a red cable butt connector sometimes blue push cable in each end tape up
once done you have looped changer out so car just doesn't see it but importantly fibre optic loop/ring is complete and will now work
