"Restricted Performance", on longer, motorway trip

Hi, I've had my L405 since last June (2018) and 4-5 times it has come up with a Red Triangle Showing "Restricted Performance", but oddly only after a continuous period of motorway driving, initially after 100 miles or so and more recently after 30-40 miles. Each time, I've continued (in limp mode) to my destination but the next time I started up, the warning has gone and no error reported. I've taken it in and put it on the ODB, but no obvious error related to the time of the warning. Luckily, the vast majority of my driving is shorter, non-motorway driving but it has me reluctant to embark on longer journeys (just in case).

Surely I cant be the first person to have this occurrence, any guidance greatly received.

That's annoying indeed.

Anything particular about it, say, high mileage, really low mileage? l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

Hey, thanks for the response

L405 2013, 90000 miles, don't know if that is significant or not

Oh, and have had my LR specialist do a smoke test to check for leaks and loose hoses, nothing found.

Why continue in limp mode ?

Have you tried switching off & restarting straight away ? When my L322 had split hoses - that worked.

Then it’s tracking down the cause - though to me it sounds like some kind of faulty sensor.
