IPhone X

iPhone X crackly on 2011 L322...driving me nuts.

Works better if I throw the phone in the back, so must be signal related, however it seems the phone is known to have Bluetooth issues.

No corrosion on Bluetooth module, up to date firmware. Slightly spoiling my experience, but wondered if others had had this experience, or if it is my phone/car specific?

I get a bit of a crackle on my iPhone 7 (also 2011 VSE) but it seem to be when the phone is ringing and clears when the speaking starts.

More of a tiny annoyance. But be good to know what's causing it.

. Cheers, Greg

mine Does the same in the fatty, but strangely not in the Disco.

its a problem a few have had on here, but don't think there is a work around yet. My iPhone 7 didn't do it...

Do you have a tune 2 air on? I'm going to try disconnecting that and see if it improves. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I do have a Bovee, but tried with and without it.

If I sit in the boot with the phone, it is clear as a bell, I suppose I could just put my phone in the boot, but it is a bit of a faff and obviously also means I can use it for Waze or similar

Going to try a couple of other phones over the next week and see what happens. Checked all the connections on the Module itself and it is clean as a whistle.

I am having the same issue for a long time. When I leave it on the passenger seat it's a lil better but still annoying. Couldn't find a solution.

My iPhone is US Spec and the RR is Euro, maybe it's something to do with it. As you'd know us spec mainboards on phones are different due to GSM/CDMA bilateral functions. Just a thought. I bought a new iPhone XS and i'll give it a try with that.

Meanwhile Samsung phones works crystal clear.

My iphone X is terrible in mine.

It was fine in my D4 so am thinking of possibly fitting a D4 bluetooth module into my L322 to see if it rectifies the issue.
