So I've read a few posts on here hailing both the virtues and investment of said IID Tool...

I am a convert - not just that I object to paying €160 for my MD to check for/read fault codes whenever m'lady goes in but my MD wouldn't entertain modifying some of the CCF features for me to enhance my ownership experience, and given how much damage owning a FF does to ones liquidity I frankly feel that they should be obliged to do anything you damn well ask of them, but I digress.

My IID BT Tool arrived by courier today courtesy of Dan at Duckworth - I was excited and it has exceeded my expectations in a matter of minutes (once the faff of registering and activating was accomplished).
I have been able to activate DRL to illuminate the LED's (Scandinavian setting resulted in dipped beam and tail lights being activated), I have changed my primary speed display from MPH to KPH (which the MD insisted couldn't be done), and I've activated the Jaguar ACC Queue function rather than my default ACC (I aim to test that functionality tomorrow).

This device is the proverbial dogs danglies and I'm happy - can you tell? FF MY2010 3.6 tdV8 VogueSE

be interesting to see what the Jaguar ACC Queue function does different to the default  Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where,s the f**king ceiling!!

On mine it stops the RR fully. Before change it would slow the RR to 20 kph then tell me to take over  2015 4.4 AB

Initial run this morning was very favourable, no indication initially that there was anything different until I came up behind slowing traffic at a roundabout - previously it would have bonged and lit up the dash to require driver intervention but this time it took me gently all the way down to stop. Further trials in a genuine queue situation to do, but promising beginnings. FF MY2010 3.6 tdV8 VogueSE

interesting, is it a built in function of the ACC? how does it sense it the car in the front?

wondering if I have Adaptive Cruise Control and can change this setting on my 2010 model. Current:

It's utilising the radar behind the front bumper to determine proximity & speed of gap reduction etc. just as it would on the standard ACC, I'm guessing that this mod to the CCF is merely reflecting the code developed for later JLR models. It was a task of mere minute or two with the IID BT tool to upload the modified config and off you go. FF MY2010 3.6 tdV8 VogueSE

Yep, if you have the ACC then it’s there, it’s also used for the front distance alert. FF MY2010 3.6 tdV8 VogueSE

Mark - if you have an IID tool, you just modify it yourself in the app (in the advanced settings or something similar from memory), and upload the modified CCF.
