I would think it was a straight forward job, but best fill the new filter with diesel before fitting |

Have read that turning the key to P2 a few times will prime the filter, not sure if that's true or not though? |

pretty sure its the same as the tdv8 4.4 so have a read of that thread in the wiki or download the workshop manual [link in the wiki] |

I changed mine today. If you look at the top bit of the filter, there is a collar which needs to be undone. It's undone clockwise looking from the top. It's usually quite tight, so I used a strap wrench to undo it. The major issue is a lack of space so it also helps to undo some of the fuel pipes around the housing too, maybe take a picture before you start so you know where everything goes.

I find removing it in its entirety is easier in the long run.
