Hi all, I have recently sold my Disco 2 and bought a 2005 L322 TD6 and need a little help with the LCM code please. Sorry for the amount of detail as it's a bit long.

I have replaced the faulty LCM with one from a 2002 V8. The replacement LCM worked fine but kept saying check dipped beam so I got it recoded by someone local (free of charge) and now the side lights won't work and it keeps saying check brake lights. I have bought a PA Soft BMW scanner and it looks like I can recode the LCM if I can work out which bit of data to change. Anyone know which memory addresses to change and what values to write please?

Guessing I need to turn side lights on, and turn brake light test off due to being LED.

New LCM is HW 01/SW 12, old LCM is HW 07/SW 2.0 But I can't read the old LCM to get the old code.

I am sure when I was having LCM trouble that I read petrol and diesel versions were differnt although I can't remember where. I ended up buying a secondhand one from Ebay USA as there re far more petrol ones over there, only paid £45 inc postage.
I think you need a TD6 one from the correct year or at least as you are asking for the coding but as I say year and model specific 2010 3.6TDV8 Stornoway Grey/ Black interior - gone
2005 4.4V8 (M62) Bonatti Grey/ Parchment interior - gone
1998 4.6HSE Blue/ Cream interior (can't remember exact colours) - gone
1977 White - gone (should have kept)

Thanks for reply Drakes. Mine has had the headlights changed for the 2006 model so not sure if the original one was recoded anyway or changed to a later version. If the HW07 denotes the year then it has already been changed.

Don't suppose anyone can post a copy of their code please?
