Correct. Log in ti GAP on a PC or Mac, plug the IID tool in with the USB cable and download the latest update from GAP. I probably do this a couple of time per year. ______________________________

I might be answering my own question here but I have the non BT tool for my 2002 TD6. Im planning on buying a 59 plate TDV8 this week and was wondering if i need to buy another IID tool or will mine work? |

i dont think it will .. you can upgrade to a BT version via GAP.....email GAP to confirm. |

My BT IID has just arrived and I've plugged it into my laptop to update it. However, nothing is happening. I don't have an activation code that I can see, so have I got to email GAP for this info? |
