Fitting Side Steps - - Problem

Installled the passenger side today (after re-tapping M6 and M8 threads Sad ) Then had a pig of a job to fit, then on the last legs, went to fit mudguard and the front is about an inch lower Big Cry Been told to pack out the rear M8 bolt with washers to raise the front up?? Anyone else had to do this to get to fit right??

I fitted an aftermarket set of side steps and had exactly the same problem. Used quite a few stainless steel washers on both sides to get them to line up with the sills. Thumbs Up
