United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

As promised I have finally got around to testing the electrics - I fitted them a few weeks ago, but the caravan inst at home so only just got a chance to hook it up.

All the lights work, the trailer indicator on the dash lights up as it should and the reverse lights stay off (i've read threads where they stay on for some reason). However... the reverse park sensors don't deactivate and its possible the suspension isn't locked (didn't actually try this, doh!)

Its not a big thing and seems perfectly usable without any CCF editing, but for a complete install it does look like it should be edited.

Thanks

Matt

Australia 2011 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Fuji White

Hi guys hope this helps,
I have 2011 AB TDV8 which has socket in boot space already, so I ordered trailer kit which contains plus for said socket & loom to 2x 7 pin trailer sockets (12n & 12s).
So I only need 7 pin and set that up according to instructions provided & terminated exposed wires for 2nd socket (may use these down the track for caravan).
So I proceeded to test each pin on socket I need and all pins checked ok except reverse, there was no voltage here!
A bit of research reveals that with the use of iid tool I can activate that pin, I think it is to let vehicle know that trailer is connected, therefore active dynamic suspension can sense loads for height & sway control. I have not yet been for drive with trailer to verify this but will update when I have.
