Are there any bulbs left? I would be keen to purchase a set please! Would help alot with hitching up which I do fairly regularly.

Happy Christmas all, just fitted my bulbs, Christmas present to the thing. !! Camera doesn't pick up the difference but it is definitely discernible with the naked eye. Happy Holidays all

I've had to change back to the standard bulbs as these LED bulbs caused the AV screen to flash on/off, mucho beeping and an occasional totally black screen when using reverse.

Some kind of Canbus error perhaps?

How very odd! no-one else has reported such behaviour, you do occassionally get the LED's to twinkle at start up, but nothing that effects the camera.

Is your camera factory fitted? just wondering if it's an aftermarket that's powered by the reversing bulbs circuit? Current: 2011 FFRR Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Having upgraded my camera I know how crucial it is to have a "clean" live feed. It doesnt tolerate interference at all.
I would check the camera live feed 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal

Reversing camera looks to be standard issue factory fitted to me - if it has been changed out, it's certainly not anything special.

Ref: Twinklies; do you mean the dashboard lights? If so, no twinkling that I've noticed.

It just seems a bit of a coincidence that before I changed over to the new LED bulbs the reversing camera was working OK, and then it started playing up after I put the new bulbs in.

Anyway, have put the old bulbs back in and will see how it goes.

Right, Reversing Camera does not work at all now, just a black screen - even with the old bulbs in. Perhaps I disturbed some wiring when changing the bulbs (you know when you wish you'd never bothered)? Although both reversing lights do work, the camera doesn't.

I've bought a new halogen H6W bulb to try that out. It works normally, but does not resolve the camera black screen issue. I notice the old bulbs had asymmetric bayonet pin placements, but the new ones are diametrically opposed to each other. I assume this is not an issue as both bulbs work.

Anyway, it is what it is. I'm not an auto electrician, so I've no idea what I'm looking for (apart from the obvious broken wire, etc).

Next step is to find a local auto electrician to find and resolve the fault.
