My 2012 WM was the same, battery fine, system powered up fine, but starter sometimes had to be pressed several times to get an reaction. At first it was silent, suggesting that the button/switch was the problem, but then there was a little click, suggesting the starter motor. The motor was tested and thought to be the problem. It was replaced and the problem never came back. They seem a known weakness, mine was about 55,000 miles at the time. Only Range Rovers since 1988 |
