I may need a starter motor ?

Ok chaps car as been stood for 2 mths, came to start it today and nothing happened on the third attempt the starter kicked in and away she went, let it warm up for 30 mins and switched it off, tried to start it again and the same happened, went on the 2nd attempt, so its either the starter or the switch, the battery is fine, any thoughts please.

My 2012 WM was the same, battery fine, system powered up fine, but starter sometimes had to be pressed several times to get an reaction. At first it was silent, suggesting that the button/switch was the problem, but then there was a little click, suggesting the starter motor. The motor was tested and thought to be the problem. It was replaced and the problem never came back. They seem a known weakness, mine was about 55,000 miles at the time. Only Range Rovers since 1988

Spot on CS, the exact symptoms and mileage just turned 55,000 too.
