Cant believe my luck, only just got the Vogue and got notice

Well, I have only just got my vogue a few weeks back, and now ive just been given notice and my buffer zone has brought the Vogue Sad

Good news is that I have been offered another job to start in the new year, but its a min of 10k pay cut and 30 miles each way further, which makes the Vogue in reality the wrong car.

So now in a quandary what to do, I either sell the Vogue and lose a few grand if not more or I run it at an extreme loss with regard to holidays and other bits. 2009 Vogue 3.6 Fullfat Smile

That's rotten Phil, sorry to hear - just before Christmas too, terrible choice for companies to do such things.

How does your Vogue make you feel?

Perhaps driving it to your new job every day will take the sting out of the pay cut.

You'll feel like a king. And everyone will be impressed at your fine choice of motor.

. Cheers, Greg

Thats bad news Phil, hopefully things will develop in 2019 for the better. You shouldn't automatically assume you will lose £100's on selling, if you bought wisely and upsell by the best methods around you could make money!

Why not by a cheap diesel fiesta or the likes for the commute, keep the Rangie for best, that wouldn't cost you so much in either losses or running costs. BMW i3 Electric Car

I'd keep the car & start looking for a better paid job closer to home

(take the other job in the interim)

Keep the Range Rover after all you’ve earned and worked hard for it

Take the new job as some money is better than no money

Look for another job in the mean time if you want more money onto no6 Range Rover

Everyone needs a hobby

I wouldn’t make any knee jerk decisions if it were me. Give it a month or so. Plus winter is coming, you might get some use

Not in the same league as a Range Rover, but last year my job in London (I work on contract in the CAD Engineering) finished unexpectedly and I was out of work for a month or so. To keep going I sold all my photography gear on eBay and a week after it had all gone got another job!

I'm now up in the North West and travel on a fortnightly basis by train (as we only have the one car) and stay locally during the week, found accomodation on spareroom.co.uk

Would that be an option to travelling daily?
Other thing was I regret jumping and selling all my photography gear as its now going to cost a fortune to replace it all!
