That's rotten Phil, sorry to hear - just before Christmas too, terrible choice for companies to do such things.

Thats bad news Phil, hopefully things will develop in 2019 for the better. You shouldn't automatically assume you will lose £100's on selling, if you bought wisely and upsell by the best methods around you could make money!

I'd keep the car & start looking for a better paid job closer to home

Keep the Range Rover after all you’ve earned and worked hard for it

I wouldn’t make any knee jerk decisions if it were me. Give it a month or so. Plus winter is coming, you might get some use

Not in the same league as a Range Rover, but last year my job in London (I work on contract in the CAD Engineering) finished unexpectedly and I was out of work for a month or so. To keep going I sold all my photography gear on eBay and a week after it had all gone got another job! I'm now up in the North West and travel on a fortnightly basis by train (as we only have the one car) and stay locally during the week, found accomodation on spareroom.co.uk Would that be an option to travelling daily? Other thing was I regret jumping and selling all my photography gear as its now going to cost a fortune to replace it all! |
