2015 Range Rover SVAutobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

405's & late model D4's start much quicker than 322's Stan... There always seams to be a small delay when i get into 322's AND, more often they won't turn over because i either don't press the button or the brake peddle hard enough!

I’m pedal first too! Does anyone find that you really have to press the pedal quite hard to register with the car that it’s being pressed? Maybe I’m a whimp but have always been surprised at the pressure requires!

L322 has a whole different starting system. The button itself mirrors turning a key, hence why you need to hold it rather than a simple press like the more modern vehicles.

Indeed. The L322 from 10MY is actually a very old electrical architecture dressed up so to speak.

Agree with IanV8 even on earlier models with the key you could turn the key then let it go and the engine would crank until it started, I have a Merc that does the same. 2010 3.6TDV8 Stornoway Grey/ Black interior - gone

1998 4.6HSE Blue/ Cream interior (can't remember exact colours) - gone
1977 White - gone (should have kept)

Press the floor mounted starter button on an old mini too hard and it would just go through the floor......
