I'm hoping that this issue might have been experienced by someone here that can help me to understand what is happening.

No ideas anyone? Even wild suggestions would be appreciated at this stage, within reason . |

I have Stan and Chalky, that's what I was meaning by the: "I went through the height reset mode but it made no difference." I was quite excited when I read that in the manual but it made almost no difference. You lift the tailgate fully up, hold it there whilst you press the open/close button until it beeps, let go and the drops again.

I’m 6’2” and can re-confirm those corners are sharp.... & hurt!!!! a piece of triangular rubber would be ideal, if anyone has any ideas, I’ll buy a pair... Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc He who dies with the most toys wins... |

The tailgate on a D5 is far worse. Both hurt though!! All LR cars from 1984

probably of no help - but mine never opens to full height either - always an inch or 2 short. I've just put it down to manufacturing tolerances |

Could someone else please check this and tell me if, with the tailgate fully open, they are able to lift it a further few 2 or 3 inches and when the vehicle is in access mode can a 5' 10" person stand under the corner without whacking their head.

Be careful - it is very, very sharp. I saw a very nasty injury happen:
http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic29085.html As for how to get it to open to its full extent, if the reset isn't working, I'm at a loss. |
