I have signed myself up in here as I like the idea of having a jack whcih actually would work, but I d rather nit have the Speinter jack sent back to Germany. Could I get the adapter only? Would I be abke to add it myself?

What range of lift does a bottle jack need to comfortably lift a L322 for tyre change?

Sorry Jim, I don’t the answer to your question, but I do know....
(1) It doesn’t want to be any taller than a sprinter jack in the fully down position, otherwise you will struggle to use it when the tyre is flat, I.e. to change a puncture.
(2) The maximum lift of a sprinter is perfect for removing a fully inflated wheel.
I think you will find it hard to get a better solution than the sprinter which works well.
I have seen a triple lift jack that is actually not quite as tall as a sprinter, so fits in easier to remove a flat and yet reaches the same maximum lift. The problem with it was it was rated at 20 tonnes, so VERY expensive , and weighed a ton, so not good to keep in car, more of a Workshop jack.

As many of us have various size wheel rims some FF will be sitting lower with 18" Rims than those with 22" Rims.
So the Jack height question will depend on that factor. Its answer is always in the MATH  May The FFoRRce Be With You
