This could be a sticking brake caliper, on my 2004 car it was a front caliper, but other threads on here have suggested rears can produce the effect too. The rears are especially prone to sticking due to not operating other than under heavy braking/with a heavy load.

Had the same on mine same speed as well just had new disks and pads and new rear callipers all gone now

Thanks again, I just wouldn’t have thought of it being a brake issue. That is far less frightening than it being a gearbox issue. |
