My bag went under literally identical circumstances. In normal and access height the bag has some overlap in the bottom half, if you take it up to offroad height it becomes single walled and any perishing is likely to let go at this point. I'd be really surprised if it wasn't the bag, but definitely worth checking the hose first. Mine also wasn't a soap and water job to find the split, I could have fit my head in the hole left! |

Im pretty sure its going to be the bag, so ordered a replacement from Island4x4, so back on the spanners! |

Ok so found a site that explained the order of the washers and it looks like they sit just below the threaded part of the shock and insert into the underside of the rubber top mount.
