People running 255 55's on a TD6....

Do you find that they go into 5th gear ok as I've heard reports that on the supercharged they don't?

Thinking of possibly putting l405 wheels / tyres on rather than replacing the tyres on my standard wheels.

Finally going to fit my L405 Style 8 alloys to my 2003 RR, just checking, will I need the newer (post 2006) RR nuts to fit them? And are they always black (the nuts)?

yes , the larger 23mm shank nuts are required..

My 2004 TD6 with L405 wheels £250 with good scorpion tyres bit of a bargain.

I'm sorry to ask questions as a new poster, but I'll post photographs as soon as I buy some more wheels....

I havean L322 "Westminster" in blue. It has the 20" fifteen spoke alloys, with 255/50r20 OEM fit tyres. I am keen to purchase a second set because I live near a steep hill where the snow can make the local area impassable, so I will need winter tyres for only a few months of the year. Last year we had to leave the range rover at home and take the Honda CR-V just because the winters on that car made such a difference.

Please can I ask:

Can I fit 19 inch wheels on my car? I assume yes?

Will I need additional equipment such as new wheel nuts for L405 alloys to fit?

Yes you can fit 19 inch wheels to your 2012 Westminster, but only one style, which are “Style 15”.
They are the only 19inch wheels that will fit over your 6pot front disc brakes.

I run L405 style 502 wheels in summer, but my winter wheels are Style 15, fitted with Vredestein Wintrac4 snow tyres .
I live in a very hilly snowy region on the edge of Saddleworth Moor and they have been excellent over the last few winters.

Minerva, if you want a set of Style 15s, I have a set of four which were the winter wheels on my 2012 WM, in pretty good condition, fitted with Goodyear Duratrac 255/55R19 tyres with about 5-6 mm tread remaining, which I would be happy to sell. I'm not sure about delivery options. £300 collected from Edinburgh. Only Range Rovers since 1988
